Basketry
We are so incredibly proud of the palm woven bags we're carrying this season. They’re woven by a fellow teacher and her family in the mountains of Oaxaca. She lives on an amazing property where she grows all of her own organic food and raises her own animals. These palm woven bags are an extension of her values for natural and sustainable living. Even though everyone else in her village has shifted to weaving plastic, she has remained true to weaving natural palm because it’s part of her cultural heritage and its better for the earth.
